The end of vs. 32 and vs 35, personalized and paraphrased as, “Help me to believe, Adonai. Help me to remember that You are my rock and my redeemer,” are God’s Word for me today. And how deeply I needed to plead for this help today. It has been a week in which God has broken my heart for what breaks His. As I have wept and prayed for the people God has put in my care who are caught up in fear, pain, grief and outright destructive rebellion, I am encouraged to know that God answers prayer! He uses the broken to heal the broken through His Holy Spirit. What a good God He is.
He teaches me acceptance: of His leadership calling on my life, of my constant need of prayer, of His unconditional love for me and others, of His equipping through spiritual gifts, of my own brokenness and that of others, of the endless possibilities for good when we accept and step into His dream for us.
Blessings,
Cheri
