Our logo was created by Gabriel, of Hebrew Tatoos, operating from Berlin, Germany. Gabriel is a calligrapher who creates one of a kind tattoos, yes that’s right, tattoos that are inked onto human skin! He used the Hebrew letters אַדְמַת קֹדֶשׁ to create our burning bush, keeping the Masoretic vowel pointing from the biblical text. The words mean ‘Holy Ground.’ These words are taken from Exodus 3:5 where God tells the approaching Moses to take off his shoes from off his feet because the ground on which he stands is Holy Ground.
Moses encounter with the Living God through the miracle of the burning yet unconsumed bush ushers us into the presence of perfect holiness, awesome might and yet unshakeable safety. We believe the words for ‘encountering the living God’ are also worked into the design.
